\  ˈakt \ verb.  To take action in order to bring about a desired outcome.

"We tend to judge ourselves by our intent.  We tend to judge others by their action."

-Stephen R. Covey

How can I get my audience to act?

Focus on being heard.

Frequently we ask, or even direct, people to do something...and then we wonder why it doesn’t get done.  My father used to say,

“You know Mark, the greatest problem with communication is the illusion that it has taken place.”

Many people are credited as having said this before my dad, but when he said it, it stuck with me.

Often the issue is that we remain focused on what we want to say, rather than what our audience needs to hear.

You and I will work on identifying the action you want others to take, and how you can access the courage to state it in a manner that is bold, memorable and clear.

How can you help me be heard?

Focus on clarity and alignment.

Once we have worked together on engaging and inspiring your audience, we will work to:

  1. Enhance clarity in your vision

  2. Build the courage to express that vision to align everyone’s goals
